ALPINE SPECIES
HIMALAYAN TAHR
Restricted to small alpine pockets, the Himalayan Tahr is one of the most sought after alpine trophies in the world. With their wide tapering horns and bushy manes, they are unlike any other species. The hunt for these animals is similar to that of international alpine sheep hunting.
Tahr bulls of around 12 inches are considered to be trophy size and we consistently take bulls of up to and well over 13 inches each season.
The rut runs from around late May to the end of July with hunting from February to the end of August.
CHAMOIS
Chamois are one of the most challenging and rewarding species to hunt. Naturally cautious and with excellent vision these small alpine antelope can be elusive. Horns over 9 inches are considered to be trophy size and we consistently take trophy chamois bucks up to and over 10 inches each season.
The rut runs from May through June with hunting from February to the end of August.
