SOUTH PACIFIC GOAT
Widespread throughout New Zealand the South Pacific Goat is plentiful in numbers. Hunting these animals is a lot of fun with either rifle or bow. The wide spread horns can reach upward of 60 inches in some cases, and are a great addition to your hunt package.
There are no restrictions on goats, and they can be hunted year round
ARAPAWA RAM
These hard running, hill country sheep are survival experts. Double-curled horns and a dark fleece they can be hunted with rifle or bow. Other breeds of wild sheep, like the Hokonui, can also be found in small pockets of hill country throughout the South Island. Another great addition to your hunt package.

FERAL PIG
A favourite past time for New Zealand hunters, feral pig hunting is widely popular with good numbers throughout public and private land. Most commonly pigs are hunted with the assistance of dogs, but can also be hunted with rifle or bow.Their thick shields, sharp tusks, and aggressive nature make for a thrilling hunt.
There are no restrictions on feral pigs, and they can be hunted year round.
BENNETTS WALLABY
Booming in numbers the Bennett’s Wallaby is now widespread throughout the Central South Island hill country. They are mostly found in tussock country but are considered a pest to ranchers as they feed on grasslands and crops. Despite there being a healthy population, wallaby’s can be difficult to spot during the day and move quickly making for an enjoyable hunt.
There are no restrictions on Bennett’s Wallaby, and hunting is encouraged year round.
