RED DEER
Blackstone Outfitters has access to premium genetics through some of the best breeders and ranchers in New Zealand. We primarily offer estate hunts for our red stags, although free range hunts on public land are available as an add-on.
We offer trophies in categories of 400 SCI or less, through to 700 SCI and above
The roar period for red stags runs predominantly during March and April. However, stags can be hunted from when they strip their velvet in February until late August

ELK
Elk, also known as Wapiti, are the largest species of deer in the world. We have access to a large estate property with award winning genetics. Because of this we are able to offer estate elk trophies in categories of 350 SCI or less, through to 450 SCI and above.
Bull elk bugle from mid March until late April, but hunting throughout the winter months is also possible.

FALLOW DEER
Our fallow buck hunts are our ultimate deer experience. With 10,000 acres of free-range private land for our exclusive hunts guarantee a great hunt and some of the biggest free-range fallow trophies in New Zealand.
Fallow are a smaller deer with a variety of coats and unique palmations. With their rutting period slightly later than the other species, fallow bucks are croaking during April and May but can be hunted throughout the winter months as well.
Our free range fallow trophies range in categories of 220 SCI or less, through to 250 SCI and above.
